(no subject)

I have next week off. I plan to cook. I could use suggestions.

Things planned so far:

Chocolate Mousse
Lamb roast
Ravioli
Vats of pasta sauce.
Baileys cheesecake.

Any other suggestions?

Mmm. That sounds like a lot of food. Too much for you to eat by yourself. I could help you out with that.

Pasta sauce is good, but not adventurous. I still say ask Wes or Kay for some Cajun recipes; you also own a Thai cook book, don't you?

I'll volunteer to help with cooking, since I suspect I'll be insanely bored all week.

I have a pelmeni recipe somewhere, although the actual forming of them is a pain in the arse. Although not any worse than ravioli, I guess... Too bad [livejournal.com profile] leezechka wouldn't be here to appreciate them :(. In general I'll be more enthusiastic with helping if you wanna try something from Russian kitchen (even something as inoffensive as pierogi would be grand). I do have a cook book, but it would be a pain to try and translate all ingredients and measurements, so I'll just scout the web for some suggestions.

Anything crazy involving chicken legs is always welcome. How about this? It sounds simple, got very high reviews and sounds tasty.

Any combo of sweet (fruit-type) and spicy is welcome...

off to alpharetta I go

Ahh. A woman with taste.

My mom used to make a dish of broccoli with melted swiss cheese and italian breadcrumbs that was delicious.

Alas, several of my close friends have a near-psychotic aversion to broccoli.

That is very sad, buy why not just avoid feeding them broccoli? Or does the mere sight and idea of it send them into a frenzy?

A few of my friends have gone into frenzies at the mere _mention_ of broccoli.

Broccoli Aversion Therapy?

What sad sad people. Can medical science not do something for this miserable and suffering part of the population? Perhaps some Broccoli Aversion Therapy?
