I heart Verizon

ghiniEarlier today I posted about cellphones. There was ranting. There was venom.
I have a used PDA Smartphone I bought on ebay. Cost me about $200, instead of the $400 one cost new.
One of the nav buttons is screwy. The springy part under the button doesn't work, so if I even bump the button it thinks I pushed it. Annoying.
I called Verizon today to ask about getting it repaired, figuring all it needs is a spring. Turns out, since I didn't buy it from Verizon, I can't get warranty service.
Instead, what they do is replace the entire phone for $50! They are FexEx-ing me a replacement. :)
