The people at http://ohmygoditburns.com/ were right. Running nasty vodka through a Britta filter 3-4 times strips out almost all taste.

Dare I try it with "Vodka of The Gods"?

I had the occasional thought of running tea through the Brita to see what happens. These guys are obviously better equipped for Serious Science than I am.

We tried it with "Popov" vodka for New Years and it was smoother than Smirnoff. Not close to Grey Goose but a helluva lot cheaper!

I'm thinking I need to try mixing up a batch of BOB with filtered vodka.

Too far up the food chain. Try filtering the finished Bob. You might end up with something very close to liquid enlightenment.

That, or a slow, certain and painful death. Experimental science is rife with tough choices. It is not a game for the squeamish.
