Is it too late to bring in another mortgage firm? I've used this one broker who has really worked miracles in the past. Let me know and I'll point him your way.
I'm figuring that if I can't get a mortgage for this neighborhood, then no one else can. This means there will be tons of empty, foreclosed properties in the immediate area. The banks are going to kill the rebirth of this neighborhood, and as sad as that is, I don't want to be there when they do.
I'm back to looking at stuff in your old hood: Edgewood/Kirkwood.
I feel for ya man... but you are probably right in your comment about the neighborhood being killed anyway, so it's probably for the best that you don't end up there on a sinking ship.
Hey speaking of ships, the house next door to mine is still for sale, and we could build a giant pirate ship out of our two houses still! ARR!

The next house will be the house for you. It will come with a hidden vodka spring, I know it.
