(no subject)

What I should be doing: sleeping.

What I am doing: Reinstalling windows after a particularly nasty Trojan got it's fangs in my OS.

What I do tomorrow: Put in an offer on a really nice house in Capitol View.

Which Trojan was it?
I got one a couple of days ago. I thought I was rid of it thanks to Spyware Doctor but it popped up again today. I am not sure if AVG managed to clear it out or not.
It first erupted with a qcntttdl.exe thing...

No clue. It looks like a custom one added by a cracked copy of Fallout 3. Nothing could detect it, but McAfee could see the spyware, trojans and adware it kept installing and remove some of it. After a few hours of fiddling, I decided to reinstall windows. I always assume a trojan can't be cleaned completely.

Capitol View?? Really?
Dude, that place makes my neighborhood look like the safest place in the world.
Are you sure about this?

Capitol View is not bad. Adair Park and Pittsburgh to the north of it are the scary ones. The house is on the south side of Capitol View, so there's a bit of a buffer zone between me and the scary parts.
