This has been a good week. Returned from New Orleans Monday. Had special Chinese New Year dinner with friends tonight. Got a good natured scolding for drinking Two Buck Chuck from Vicki, King of the Wine Snobs.

This weekend there are no less than five potential parties to go to. I'm sticking with the small ones for close friends.

Next week, back to the gym, for I am a fat fuck. Tuesday I go to the ortho to see if I need a knee replaced.

From what I have gathered from other bad-knee people, there are four basic possibilities:

1. nothing they can do
2. wear a brace
3. hylonic acid injections (joint-lube, would allow the cartilage to heal)
4. surgery
