nobody loves them!

This is a very interesting graph of presidential approval ratings over the past 60 years.

Interesting so many of them have had huge drops.

Every one went out with lower approval ratings than they started with... except Clinton.

Bush had an approval rating in the high 80 after 9/11. Only Truman also reached that high. Truman also went lower than Bush, down to the 20s, but rebounded up to the 70s. Bush has had almost a constant decline since 9/11.

That Kennedy downturn is really fascinating! 15 point drop before they killed him. I wonder if people might have a completely different view of him if he'd been allowed to complete his downturn before he died.

What was that drop about, anyway? Were people upset about his handling of Cuba?
