My weekend in San Francisco has been going wonderfully. This afternoon we went for a walk and my lower back felt a bit achy. We came back to the hotel for a nap, and now I find that standing up is intensely painful. I took a painkiller a few minutes ago and I'm really hoping it works soon. Being stuck on my back in bed in San Francisco is a sub-optimal vacation.
