Who's interested in going to Transformus this year? It's July 20-22 2007.

Tiered ticket sales begin February 15 with 400 tickets available at $40 each.

When those are sold out, we re-open ticket sales April 1, with 400 tickets at $50 each.

When those are sold out, we re-open ticket sales May 1, with 400 tickets at $60 each.

That's 1200 total, same as last year. Tickets sold out and a lot of people were scrambling for them.

I'm considering doing a theme camp. Nothing big, but that lets us get in early and reserve space to camp together. Anyone interested?

I'm definitely going. I have a couple of friends from Augusta and SC who are probably going (I camped wit them last year) and I am not sure of their camping plans for this year.

What theme are you thinking of? We might be tempted into throwing our lot in with you. :-)

I think our theme should be something simple. maybe we can give away candy or something.

Steve says we need to have "Camp Swollen Testicles". We all wander around with oranges down our pants and have a karaoke machine with AC/DC's "Big Balls" on it.

I'd shove oranges in my pants for you. *g*
How much candy we would have to get in order to accommodate Mysterians for 4-5 days?
I like the theme of Camp Gumball Machine.
We can give away candy and gumball machine toys. I know a few online vendors where we can order bulk toys really cheaply. (And imagine the fun to be had for some of the attendees from those various little toys.) There is also a carnival supply store near my apt that reopens in a couple of weeks.
I think that would also leave lots of decorating ideas open to people who are thusly inclined.

I'm certainly in, am still working on Matt. I like the idea of getting there early, since I'm not taking insane amounts of vacation this year. Maybe that'll let me camp someplace that's not a spider nest. I also like things that are cheap.

I'm definitely going, will try to drag Twitch along as well. Will start by making him buy the tickets, since no one seems to want to accept my credit card from India.

1200 is a good number. Keeps it from getting too crowded.
