threes

They say that celebrity deaths come in threes. This time it was:

James Brown, Gerald Ford and Saddam Hussein

Which one of these things is not like the other?

There's a case to be made for any of them ... Gerald Ford is the only one who had only one wife, and who apparently did physical harm only to himself. James Brown is the only one who didn't survive more than one assassination attempt. Saddam is the only one who hasn't ever been to Harlem. And they all have the distinction of seriously messing with the year-end obituary writers who thought they were done with the job -- I mean, how many famous people can die in the last week of the year?
