So, it seems work will be sending me to Colorado for the first week of June. This is cool, because it's my first paid business trip ever. It also sucks, because 8 hours of my day will be spent learning about Sun storage arrays. Also, I'll be flying out on the 31st, which is the last day of my old Oak Point lease, so I'll be spending the week before frantically moving in.

So, it seems to be near Boulder. Anyone been there? Any cool stuff to do?

Boulder is a seriously granola-and-crystals town from what I hear. A buddy of mine who lives in the Boulder 'burbs recommends the hiking.

And you can always try to visit all the exterior locations from Mork and Mindy.

If you'll have a car, you should drive up the Pike's Peak rally trail. The cities are UGLY, but once you get outside those and up in the mountains, Colorado is gorgeous.

Check out the Boulder market on Wednesdays(?) I think... it's sort of a local farmer's/restaurateurs market and is kinda neat. In general, Boulder's a pretty but not terribly exciting town, but it's backed up to the hills, and there's much hiking to be had within a very short drive.

Head up the road to the NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) building and check out their supercomputer clusters... there's also some nice hiking in the area, and there's a great view from the area.

I'm in CO, but not near Boulder. Enjoy your time here, though, its' beutiful in Colorado. Like everyone said? Boulder is kind of a bad representation for us, but there are some pretty areas around it.

Well of course you have to hit up Rocky Mtn National Park and Trailridge Rd (Hwy 34, as I recall. Ask anyone there-- they'll know it) even if only to take a drive through it.
