The great minds that brought us Super Troopers have come out with their next cinematic opus, Club Dread. It opens Friday. Time for fun!

I'm all about a Friday night show, then a trip to the Highlander to discuss the deep cinematic nuances over a PBR. Anyone else?

As a side note, it's playing up at Regal 24, which is a short way from the delicious (and cheap) Little Szechuan restaurant. Is there interest in dinner beforehand?

Interesting. I might see if I can finagle Stevie into going. Friday is date night, but we haven't been doing so well at organizing the date thing anyway. :)

probably... have to meet a girl about a hat, but I'm sure W won't want to miss this one.

Completely off the topic, but...

I remember seeing people drinking PBR when I was very young. Then I don't think I saw a single container of said beverage for about 20 years. Then, working at Clear Channel and running the board for a Cincinnati Bengals game, the main sponsor turned out to be PBR and for the first time in decades I heard them saying: "What'll ya have? A Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

jello biafra is speaking friday night, although it is tempting.

Where is he speaking?

I've heard mixed reviews of his live spoken word shows. I like his CD's, but my friend saw him live and said it was mostly a ton of ultra-left liberal whining.

hes speaking at emory. tickets can be gotten at criminal records or at the info desk in the duc on emorys campus.

The time I saw him live it was rather boring. Ended up leaving early. He kept going on about conservative conspiracy bullshit.

Brian and I are TOTALLY planning on seeing it, but I also wanted to see Beckham and Phat Joe's plans, as I'm sure they are seeing it Friday also. I wonder if they would come out to the other side of the suburbs for the Hollywood 24 show...

Will get back to you with more!

I am all over this one. =)

I might be more interested in dinner than the movie. :)

That sounds awesome! I will have to see where I am at with the unpacking and so on, but let me know about stuffs. I love Little Szechuan!

yes and yes -- as long as someone besides you (with your warped sense of low long things takes) sets the schedule :-P
