Plunging Prices!

Three Buck Chuck is now Two and a Half Buck Chuck! Two fiddy!

Apparently the Midtown Trader Joes was due to open by now, but there was a change in licensing laws and they went back to get a new one. The new one means they can serve wine samples to customers. It's due to open in late March, and a Buckhead one should open in the fall.

I find it amusing that, because of Georgia liquor distribution laws, they've had to make the sale of 3-buck-chuck available to anyone who wants to sell it... and now, pretty much, every liquor store in TOWN has it.

I just noticed there's a Trader Joe's near my home. I've never been. Apart from good, cheap wine, what reason have I to go there?

It'll be open by the time I get home! YAY!!! That is one thing I liked about DC...easy Trader Joe's access. I don't like to shop anywhere else, really.
