Trader Joe's is considering buying up some of the 40 Save-Rites being closed in Atlanta!
There is one a quarter mile from my house... :)

Ikea and Trader Joe's. All you need now is an H&M, and Atlanta will almost be a civilized place to live ;)

Trader Joe's is a semi-fancy grocery store. Imagine Whole Foods with a sense of humor and less insane prices.

There is a save-rite very close to my house which is the bane of my existence. OK, maybe just a mild irritant. Anyway....S-R is gross. Trader Joe's owns. I hope they do buy that location.

They are closing all their Winn Dixie and Save Rites in Atlanta, so it won't be a bane much longer.

"We're very interested in that market, and we'd love to be there," said Trader Joe's spokeswoman Audrey Dumper.

right, the question is, will it be replaced by something nicer, or will it be a festering hole of decaying empty retail space.
and a AJC link? aren't they all pay now?
