Wow. I read here every day, but post so rarely.
My brother moved out in April. My other roommate took over his room, and the new roommate moved in at the beginning of June. Brother took his two cats with him. other roommate brought her two down from NC, and new roommate brought hers down as well. We are now a 5 cat household. Damn.
I'm skipping Euphoria this weekend. I'm not thrilled with the concept of spending a muggy June weekend in a field in Georgia. I'm looking forward to Transformus and Alchemy down the road, but for now I'm burned out on burners.
I had my studio from January through May. I took a lot of awesome pictures in it, but I let the lease end. It's not air conditioned, and I figure I can use the money over the summer to build flame effects.
Oh, in April I took the class "Propane Flame Effects and Safety for the Artist" taught by two Burning Man veterans. I've ordered much wonderful stuff to make pretty fire.
