Still here
Nov. 4th, 2010 05:10 pmIt seems that I check LJ 10 times a day, but I only post once every 10 days...
I've been out of the hospital for 2 weeks. Yay. My elbow is still a bit red and stiff, but mostly better. I've been off antibiotics since Sunday and it hasn't grown teeth and bit anyone. Yet.
Last weekend I headed up to DC to visit friends and go to the Rally to Restore Sanity. They estimated the crowd at 215,000 which makes it the largest crowd I have ever been in. The weekend was fun in general, though I would have liked more time seeing DC friends.
One thing I noticed on my trip was the look of the DC Metro. It looked familiar. I have visited DC a few times before, but that's not why. I finally realized that I played the video game Fallout 3. It was set in DC and had several levels in the Metro. I was standing where I had shot countless mutants a few years ago (and 200 years in the future)
I'm dying to shoot more, but it is getting too cold to shoot people outside. I think I am going to have to find some space to rent as a photo studio soon.
