Possible freedom?!?!

I have two doctors here. Admitting doctor, aka medical doctor, and my orthopedic doctor who consults on this since it's an elbow. Ortho doc just came by. He said my white count was 18 (high, fighting infection) when admitted, and is 12 (just above normal) today. He's going to reccomend to my medical doc that I be allowed to go home and continue treatment as an outpatient. We shall see what my medical doc thinks of that...

Is there a doctor around?

My doctor of 8 years just closed her practice to go work for Kaiser. Since I don't have Kaiser, I need to find a new Primary Care Physician.

I live right by the East Atlanta Village, and work at Georgia Tech in Midtown. Can anyone recommend a good doctor between those two areas?

one more night

Doc came by. He's not sending me home today, but says he most likely will tomorrow.

(no subject)

I have spent the last several days googling MRSA, staph infections, etc. This has led me to a series of videos that are frequently disgusting, hilarious or both.

This is a video of a lanced and drained staph infection of an elbow. Probably what's in store for me down the road.

This one is my favorite of all I have come across. It is a video of a guy with a big infection on his back being drained by two of his female friends. Their reactions are hilarious

Obviously, both are pretty gross, so don't watch without a strong stomach.
