(no subject)
It's been about 15 hours since my last painkillers, and my arm hurts... a bit.
Last night it hurt every which way. Up, down, at my side, on my head, etc. It hurt bad.
Today it still hurts a bit, but it's more a "poking a bruise" hurt than a "my arm is full of fire and broken glass" hurt.

Another day in the bacteria mines
Doc took a look at my evil elbow. He says that it is good that the infection is no longer spreading. Another 24 hours of IV antibiotics for me!
GRRR
I am a Web Developer by trade. I build web pages. Usually, they work. So this bullshit has me pissed.
The hospital I'm in blocks a lot of sites. Mostly porn, or a few flagged with "nudity" but some are just "banned." One of those banned sites is nflximg.com. It's the site that serves images for netflix.com. Images of box covers and buttons and the like. Now, netflix.com isn't banned, just the image server site. it makes navigating the netflix site almost impossible.
The page that pops up says "This site has been blocked for the following reason: Blocked site" Then it links to the acceptable computer use policy (broken) and has the email address for the helpdesk (bouncing mail) I called the helpdesk number to point out their problems and the lady said that they had to leave certain things blocked for security reasons and to protect from hackers. I told her "Hackers won't break in and steal medical records if I watch 30 Rock episodes online"
