stuff

Too long since I made a real post. Life has been insanely busy. Let's work backwards:

This past weekend I went to see Man or Astroman at the Earl. It was great to see another band that reformed to be just as awesome as they used to be. I got to see a guy playing a flaming fucking theremin. Can it get any cooler than that? The opening band was called Hawks. Musically, they were awesome. Your basic three piece guitar-drums-bass. The lead singer was kind of like if Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins had a baby with fetal alcohol syndrome. He was screaming into two mics at once, running around with his pants falling off. I can't figure out if he's one of those amazing lead singers who goes crazy on stage, or if he was going crazy on stage because he thought that's what amazing lead singers were supposed to do. I'm not sure if I liked him, but I'll probably see them again.

Jumping back a weekend, I went to the PEX Summer Festival. An awesome time. It was mostly a burn, with a few conveniences. It was great to see a bunch of the DC crowd who normally I don't get to hang out with. Had lots of fun.

Before that I did a few awesome photoshoots. Still haven't had time to edit and post those. :(
