Last night I was headed down Howell Mill. I'm in the right lane. There's a SUV in the left lane next to me. As we came up to the 14th Street intersection the car in front of the SUV slowed down to turn left. The SUV was moving too fast and close, so he swerved to the right to avoid hitting the car in front of him. That's when he hit me.

We pulled off and swapped info. He's a 25 year old Georgia Tech grad student from Texas. The cop said he was at fault. It only took 50 minutes for the cop to show up after I called 911.

I'm ok, my passenger was ok, and my car works. All in all it could have been a lot worse.

You know when you ride a roller coaster how you hear the tik-tik-tik as you get to the top of the first big hill? Right before it plummets down into the big ride? That's where I am right now.

Tuesday: Work.
Wednesday: Prep for PEXfest
Thursday: Drive to Maryland
Friday - Sunday: PEXfest! Yay!
Monday: Drive home

Then I have a week to prep for Transformus, build the hippie mindfucker helmet and I head to NC.

It's in the air

Less than 24 hours after I got hit, Di got hit. She's ok, and her car is drivable. I'll let her tell the story. It's a good one.
