Hauswerk

This week I fixed my ice maker line, re-floored part of my attic, replaced the screen on my front door and discovered a huge wasps next in my attic.  Fun for this weekend.

Traffic strangeness

I was heading west on I-20 on the way to work this morning.  I took the on ramp to 75/85 North.  Traffic immediately slowed down as I left the on ramp.  There were about 8 motorcycle cops driving slowly up the highway, keeping all traffic behind them.  They were weaving back and forth, to keep from tipping at such slow speeds.  As soon as all the cars were kept at bay, six of the motorcycles sped off ahead. 

We kept going along at 10 mph or less, and as we came to each on ramp there was a motorcycle cop blocking any cars from entering.  As our slow-moving mass of cars came to each on ramp, the cop let cars back on the highway.  I was only in this for a couple miles, but it was strange seeing 75/85N absolutely empty in the late morning.  

Any ideas what was going on?
