click click click
Apr. 27th, 2009 02:13 amSleep is going to be interesting tonight. I've been on vicodin based cough medicine for a week and it's played hell with my sleep schedule. It makes sleep like a cat: it might ignore you, or it might curl up on you for 7 hours from noon to sunset.
You know when you get on a roller coaster how you heard the click click click as you get pulled up to the top of the first big hill? The more clicks you hear, the higher you go and the longer and wilder the ride will be. There's a few seconds after the clicks end, a brief quiet before the first roaring of the long plunge into insanity. I'm on my last few clicks. The quiet moment will be the sleep I might get tonight. Tomorrow I think I may start the plunge.
This week I get the house inspected. If it is in good condition, then we are good to go and we get the mortgage set up and we close. If things go well, I can close in two weeks. There's a week of wiggle room in there, then I fly to Boston for my cousins graduation. I fly back and hop in a car and drive to Texas for Burning Flipside.
I get back at the end of Memorial Day weekend, then I have two weeks to get the new house in order. June 8th I leave for Europe, and spend two weeks exploring three different countries. I get back June 20th and have a month to settle in to my new house before Transformus takes up the third week of July.
