Why I loves the internet #723149
Feb. 16th, 2009 12:02 pmI love the internet. Yes, you can claim that it allows pedophiles to stalk children. It allows terrorists to plan attacks. It sells fake penis enlargement pills. When you get down to it, it has it's good moments.
Saturday a teenager named Timmy recorded a video of himself beating up his cat and posted it to youtube.
By Saturday afternoon it had made 30,000 views on YouTube. The b/tards on 4chan caught wind of it and got mad.
Within 24 hours, they had used YouTube, Facebook, Myspace and Google to find his hometown, address, name, photo and reported it to the police, PETA, the SPCA and "a web forum of 5000 postmenopausal cat lovers"
Both kids were arrested and the cat was taken to a vet. You can see the news video here.

can a man get a taco?
Feb. 16th, 2009 10:51 pmSo, I was headed home from Charlotte with friends this past Sunday. We are hungry. A poll is taken of the passengers in the car. The vote is Taco Bell. I ask my GPS where the closest Taco Bell is. It gives me directions. We wind up in an office park along Southern Pine Blvd. Generic brick buildings. NO TACOS.
After driving back and forth, asking Google Maps and checking the GPS again, I realize we are driving past the headquarters of Phoenix Taco LLC. Apparently this is the company that runs all the Taco Bell franchises in Charlotte. I wanted to punch my GPS. Lying to me about tacos is NOT COOL.
