My percocet wore off this morning at 6:12am. That's when I rolled over in bed and my knee screamed like a little girl.

I faxed of the official letter canceling the contract on the house. I was sad to have to do it, but it had to be done. I have a high credit score, a good job and a small but solid down payment. If I can't get a mortgage in that neighborhood, then no one else can. With all the foreclosures in the neighborhood, there will be a ton of empty houses. The economy is headed downhill, and that neighborhood will probably slip back in to scary ghetto-land. I went to the neighborhood association meeting in November, and met some nice people. I feel sorry for them.

When walking is an option again, I'll try to look for a house is Edgewood/Kirkwood/East Atlanta again.

[livejournal.com profile] hippieatheart asked me how I was enjoying my drug induced stupor...  I am STUPORMAN!

This is a question for anyone who's had an operation or anything.  They put me under general anesthesia for my operation.  They put a breathing tube down my throat.

Now when I lay back, it feels like there's something in the back of my throat.  When I do the thing you do to hock up a loogie it feels like it's back there.  I just shined a flashlight down my throat, and it looks like I can now hock my uvula forward onto my tongue.  Has anyone else had a breathing tube in them, and as a result had a miraculous uvula extension?
