It's been a fucking week.
Wednesday I was told my mortgage was approved!
Thursday I was told it was canceled!
That makes three. I'm going to find out about the fourth and final one early next week. If it doesn't happen, I have to give up on this house and find a different one in a different neighborhood. I'll lose $1000 if that happens. Part of me still hopes I'll get it. Part of me is ready to eat the losses and move on. We shall see.
Tomorrow I go to my friend Sean's bachelors party. I have knee surgery on Tuesday. Saturday I perform his wedding. I'll try to limit my worries in the intervening days to "where's the Percocet?"
