El Vez, double pack!

I just noticed a sign at Eats. El Vez is coming to town! TWICE!

Saturday August 16th he's playing the Elvis Death Day show with Kingsized and Dames Aflame.

Sunday August 17th he's playing his El Vez for Prez show at the Earl.

I saw the El Vez for Prez tour in 2000, and it rocked. Over the course of one show he went from campaign to election to inauguration to assassination to resurrection.

I will be attending both, hopefully.

My brother won tickets to Dethklok. In exchange for picking them up tomorrow I get to go. Who else is going to Dethklok and Tom Waits in the same week?
