sick sucks
I've been sick all week. Really sick. I normally don't get sick, other than a festive case of bronchitis once or twice a year. This started Monday morning with a sore throat, and quickly expanded to fever, aches, coughing and congestion.
Today I can actually say I feel better because the fever, aches and sore throat are gone. Now I just cough up green goo and have to blow my nose every 17 seconds. My nose is sore.
Normally I have a pretty tough immune system. My last bout of flu was six or seven years ago. Colds normally give me the sniffles for a day or so. Whatever this crud is, it's seriously nasty.
The worst part is being cooped up. I really wanna go outside and be social, but I'm taking it easy. I want to be better for the fun of this weekend.
