Holly's wedding
Holly's wedding was a blast. I was suited, wired for sound, etc. Here's how I know these two were perfect for each other. The ceremony they gave me had the following line:
I ____ take you ____ to be my husband/wife.
This was the part of the ceremony where I was supposed to lead both of them. This had never been practiced:
Me: "repeat after me.. I..."
Paul and Holly: "I"
Suddenly I realize that even though we have not practiced this at all, I know EXACTLY how it's going to play out.
Me: "state your name"
Paul and Holly: "State your name"
Me: "take you to be my husband slash wife"
Paul and Holly: "take you to be my husband slash wife"
See? Perfect for each other.
