Anyone out there a Cingular customer? Do you now want to be one anymore? Recently they changed their text-message rates. This is a change to the basic contract, and you have a right to end your contract because of that. They may whine about it, but you can.

Note that you don't need to cancel your service. You can just cancel your contract and go month to month. Easy way to escape that contract you have a year left on if you want to switch providers.
