Ok, so I really need to get off my ass and write up last weekends PDF. Here's the first part:
Steve, Missy and I finally got on the road around 9pm on Thursday night. Steve drove like a madman, Missy tried to keep Steve in a good mood, and I watched movies on my laptop in an effort to distract myself. I hate driving. I hate riding. I especially hate riding 14 hours in the back of a Hyundai.
We stopped and got a hotel room around 4 or 5am, crashed and were back on the road by 11am. Somewhere in Virginia we hit traffic. Two hours of stop-and-go later, both on and off the highway, and we were all surly. We finally made it to the campground around 6pm.
We started wandering around. I almost immediately found Megan, who we had met at the last PDF. She had already set up her camp, reserved space for Cyn, and was in charge. Megan is not like us mere mortals. She is... organized.
The accumulated road rage made setting up the tents an exercise in comedy. Missy helped me to set up the big tent. "Help" consisted of standing on the tent and saying "Wha?" a lot. :)
Finally we got set up and wandered off to explore. I started runnign around, checking in with friends I had made at Fall PDF. I tried to promote Cynthia's Catholic Schoolgirl Lesbian Zombie Musical as much as possible:
Me: "Hey, my friends are putting on a Catholic Schoolgirl Lesbian Zombie Musical tomorrow on the main stage! You should go!"
Them: "I know, I'm in it."
