I saw a few movies in maryland, to kill the time.

Walk the Line - Very good. Joaquin Phoenix does a decent Johnny Cash. Amazingly, Reese Witherspoon can really sing! Due to striking similarities between this film and last years equally good musical biopic, I am referring to this movie as "The White 'Ray'"

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - written and directed by Shane Black, who wrote Leathal Weapon, The Long Kiss Goodnight and The Last Boy Scout. If you liked those, you will love this. Great writing and excellent performances by Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer.
