Jan. 16th, 2005 04:39 amIt's been a fun weekend so far.
Wandered Venice Beach and saw a strange street performer with chains, handcuffs, straitjackets and not teeth. He wanted "two enthusiastic volunteers" to tie him up, but none of us wanted to touch him.
Had shabu shabu and consumed half a bottle of chili oil in the process.
Somehow turned a two hour drive to San Diego into about a six hour trip.
The same kind of total power failure screwup that happend to LJ happened to work. While I was on vacation. :)
Hung out with Brooke and company and watched her get an amazingly funny attack of hiccups. She also tried to remove her 140 lb doberman from her bed. He displayed his scorn by shifting positions to stick his butt on her pillow. Brooke has an amazingly cool family. Mom is just like her, stepdad is cool and stepsister is the most adorable 10 year old goth-rock kid.
Brooke has threatend to take us to Blacks Beach tomorrow. A nude beach where she says "all the fat ugly naked people hang out"
More fun tomorrow, followed by a long flight home and a week of work. Ugh.
PS Kyle Vanderneut is a big loser. Brooke will be anouncing this to the greater Los Angeles area on the radio next week.
