Last night I went to the Einsblahten Neublahten show. They have mellowed in their old age, but the show still kicked ass. One thing I didn't expect from the original angry German Indstrial band: jokes.

"Ve haf to vait for the air compressor to recharge. Ve are almost don vis de tour. It has been a very gut compressor for us. If you vould like to buy it, ve can sell it to you. Ve bought it at de Home Depot for two hundred and someting dollars. If you buy it, you can haf it autographed by ze whole band, and ve can even wrap it in some gold foil if you vant it to look nice."

I saw a ton and a half of people I know. Got to talk to [livejournal.com profile] gargleoil about photography. Must remember I promised her Photoshop help. Talking about photography is always good. Got to see [livejournal.com profile] carriesnarf who has been far too absent from fun.

Late sleeping meant I missed the [livejournal.com profile] whippersnappers meetup at Highlander. Alas.

This is the beginning of my summoer of no classes. While the concept of no darkroom or studio is terrible, the idea of more slackness and fun times is always good.

My cube is about 15 feet from the back stairs. Normally this is a good thing as it allows quick escapes and the occasional sneaking in when I'm very late. Above this door is a green EXIT sign.

This morning the E in EXIT is flickering. With each flicker on and off there is a "tic". It's doing this at random intervals, about twice a second.

tic. tic tic. tic tictictic. tic.

At this rate I'll be homicidal in about 20 minutes.
