Got a ticket for the 5pm sunday performance of Geek Love. It's about 3 hours long.
Got a ticket for the 8pm Rollins spoken word show Sunday at 8pm. Looks like I'll be sprinting up the street.
Went to the Pennywise show tonight. Not bad. Aside from hearing a punk cover of "Hey Ya!", the thing that struck me most was the 15 year old punker kids. See, I'm old, but young enough to remember when being a 15 year old kid with a permanent sneer, mohawk, Doc Martins and a hatred of the world meant you were PUNK ROCK, MAN! Now I think it's just so cute! I want a pair of angry 15 year old punks as pets.
I'm finishing up day 4 of no smokes. No one has died yet. Elise has tried repeatedly to tempt me, but she has failed. She is a poor temptress. If the devil had put her in charge of the whole Adam and Eve project, we would all still be living in the Garden of Eden. However, we would smoke 3 packs a day there. I called her bluff, and said I would smoke a cigarette with her, but she had to be naked at the time. She remains clothed and I remain nicotine free.
