daonnan - first met through lorigami. Leigh leads a bumpy life, but she always keeps trying to make it better, which is inspiring. Of course, she's a hopeless Everquest junkie, so she's doomed to a life as a totalnerd. :)

desidjm - I first met Desi at The Deck several years ago. Back then almost everyone I met at the Deck was written off as a useless stoner. After running into her and talking to her some more I realized she was actually cool and had a brain. Never trust a first impression in a room full of people who have done too many whip-its. Now I seem to run in to her a lot out at clubs, where all of our communications are screamed over loud bass.

eccyntric - Cynthia is one of my best, oldest friends. We have shared ups, downs, fun times and troubles over the years. Any night that ends with her and I drunkenly chatting and smoking too much is a night well spent. She's thousands of miles away now and I miss her like all hell.

eneref - Neil is old school havoc people. I can't remember when exactly I met him, but it has been a long time. Neil always has a good story to tell about martial arts, his girlfriend, his strange upbringing or one of a hundred other topics. Since he rarely leaves his fortified OTP compound, I see him about once a year.

errline - What can I say about Trey that hasn't already been said by a girl in a bar right before she slaps him? Not much. :) Kidding. Trey is a seemingly bottomless fount of knowledge. Some of it is useful (Unix), some of it is useless (football), some is entertaining (incredibly dirty jokes).

ewin - I first met Erin on the newsgroups back in the mid 90's. She was interesting in a 'we agree on absolutely NOTHING' kind of way. One day a year or two ago she popped up in my 'friend of' list. Over the years she and I have both mellowed to the point where we are not as incredible opposites of each other anymore.

faerie - I can't remember where I found faerie's journal, but she's interesting. She is (like I was) an English Major at a southern college who works in a library. Beyond that point all similarities stop. She can write like hell, make you laugh and is worth a read.

fariered13 - she bought my car. Used to post a lot more. Seems interesting.

fbofw_feed - For Better or Worse is a comic that strangely resonated with me as a kid. The comic family had an older brother named Michael, which I suspect caught my Grandmothers eye. She sent me clippings for years. It's interesting that the comic Michael grew up to be a writer/photographer.

fermi - Fermi is a kickass DJ. He's probably a pretty good astrophysicist too, but no one ever dances to that. I first met him one day at Piercing Experience and since then I run into him on campus every few weeks.

flametodance - I met Sarah back in 1992 as a freshman at Tech. Ran ito her again as a driver for Papa Johns in 1995. Turns out we have had friends in common over the years. Sing us another chorus of 'It's a small world after all' :)

fluffy_avenger - Tanya's cat's journal. Proof Tanya will quit LJ when they pry the keyboard from her cold, dead fingers.

foxtrot_feed - Foxtrot is one of the few comics that still manages to be funny on a regulr basis.

franksilva - Met Roger through BeckyP when he was the maintenance guy at Oak Point. He had a talent for amazingly funny stream of consciousness posts, which he no longer makes.

fuzbal - Myke took over for me when I moved out of BedNarz! He's currently OTP. He is a strategic genius.

happyfunnorm - Norm was one of the original residents of BedNarz! He's a true original. I've seen him drunk (once), playing the trombone in his boxer briefs to wake me up, dancing to They Might be Giants and onstage in a production of My Fair Lady.

highlandertales - ironic, because most of the coolest stuff that happens at Highlander is far too embarrasing for public knowledge

ilikemovies - Rob's movie review journal. Kinda quiet.

improbable - Karen has been friend and occasional coworker and roommate. She's allegedly leaving for Argentina soon.

iwillfearnoevil - Met Elise when we both worked at CNN. We got laid off at the same time. I can always count on her for a smoke and some gossip.
