Friday night was "night of free stuff".

Free showing of Underworld, free entry to Seks, free Zippo, free poster, free necklace and free insulated tote bag. Even with $10 parking and $7 drinks I came out ahead.

Next weekend will be spent visiting saintb. Anyone know cool stuff to do in Chicago?

Watched Spun last night. It's the first movie directed by Jonas Akerlund, the music video director who did Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up". It was interesting. It reminded me a lot of Trainspotting.

It was gross. In a good way. Imagine Trainspotting. Now swap the heroin for meth. Then move it to California. Swap Ewan McGregor out with Jason Schwartzman. Remember that toilet he goes swimming in? Replace it with a giant cartoon vagina.

Maybe it's not that much like Trainspotting after all. But it was definitely interesting.
