They looked gothabilly

Last night started out with me and marieofroumania at the Boom Boom Room.

We wandered over to Crescent Room, where I ran into Lorigami and company having drunken fun. I alternated between watching Brooke break WASP hearts and nearly dying of a seziure from watching the Seks crew dancing to the Dueling Banjos. They left to go to the Armory while I wandered to Booke's couch to sober up.

I sit here at work today on 4 hours sleep, realizing that I'm supposed to go to dinner at my aunt and uncles tonight. My cousins are in town and we get to see them. My aunt wanted me to take pictures of everyone. I told her I'd been shooting lots of tattoos lately. When my aunt said none of them have tattoos, I told her I'm bringing a sharpie so my cousins (ages 13 and 9) can decorate her.

Where do I go?

My current options for places to live include:

1. Really nice, really big one bedroom on Ponce. Drawback: windows look out over the homeless shelter next door.

2. Really nice, good sized two bedroom just down the block from my current place. Drawback: the sketchy company that owns the building has had two other buildings burn down this year.

3. Nice 2 bedroom basement apartment two blocks from Patricias and The Highlander. Drawbacks: too expensive, and living two blocks from Highlander will be the death of me.

There are a few other leads to chase down, and places to ask about. Next week is vacation, then I make a decision.
