(no subject)

The weekend got kind off off track starting Saturday. I was supposed to spend the early afternoon watching saintb get her tattoo, then give caligineux a ride, then help lische cook, then go to housewarming dinner for solsistr3 and orchid79.

Well, I started off light on sleep due to the long night before. I went to Scared Heart for the tattooing, then I discovered that caligineux was running about 5 hours ahead of schedule and didn't need a ride. My stated intent to help lische cook failed when I kind of fell asleep on the couch....

Then the slapstick happened. Mo, the evil little kitty belonging to lische, snuck out the door when I opened it. I tried to grab her, stumbled down the stairs and twisted the ever living hell out of my ankle. I sat on the hood of my car for a few minutes in blinding pain, then limped back inside. I have spent the previous 24 hours limping around. Things seemed ok for a while, but the pain kept me up until 7am.

Hopefully tomorrow this will be healing. If not, Limpy goes to the doctor.

Oh, I'm taking a week of vacation from the Atkins Diet. In the past day I have had beer, wine, tots, chocolate mousse cake, shortbread, cake, bread and many Krispy Kremes.
