Well, it's over. 13 days of vacation blissfully passed. Now my liver needs a vacation.
Things I cooked while on vacation: Lamb roast, Garlic mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse, curried goat, marinara, baked ziti, fiery green jungle curry, not-so-firey red curry with mahi mahi, asphalt.
I managed to catch a Christmas cold. I had it first, then everyone else got it. What can I say? I'm a trendsetter!
My basic schedule went something like this: Stay up drinking till dawn. Get very little sleep. Stumble through day in a haze. Sleep 12 hours that night. Next night back to drinking till dawn.
So today I'm back at work for a spectacular 1 day week. In 19 minutes I get to register for my first college classes in 5 years. There's one spot open in Photography. For the 8am class. This is a test of my will and resolve.
