I am evil. Yes I am.
Jan. 19th, 2002 04:50 amSo, here is the breakdown of why James hates me this time:
1. We plan Alicias birthday dinner. James volunteers his venison as main course.
2. Thursday James defrosts said venison so it can be marinated overnight and cooked Friday.
3. Thursday night he calls me and tells me that I can come by and pick up the venison. At this point it is late and we are both tired.
4. I neglect/forget to get the venison from James. I recall earlier that he has said he can be home from work around 5:30pm, so I figure no problem, I can pick it up after leaving work.
5. Friday he emails me asking if I picked up the venison. I say no.
6. James flies off the handle. First insult received:"dip wad". He complains because he says he is not able to leave work before 7pm and there won't be time for him to get home and get me the venison.
7. Things get worse. James now says he can leave work early, but it will cost him $50 bucks in lost wages. He's mad.
8. After quickly conferring with Karen, I tell James to forget the venison. I'll buy a roast beef and we can do that. He can stay at work. Insults thrown by James at this point: Asshole, Immature and Fuck you."
9. I go to Kroger and buy stuff, then to Publix and buy more stuff. While in Publix, James calls. He has left work and bought a bottle of wine. He's at home and offering to bring the venison over. I tell him it's too late and I have already bought food. I get annoyed and tell him I have to go. He gives a parting "Fuck you"
10. While unloading the groceries, James drives up. He enters, drops off a bottle of wine and starts to yell at me. I tell him this is Alicias birthday party and he can either be civil now and yell later or leave. He leaves.
11. Dinner goes well.
James thinks I'm evil. This seems to happen every 6-12 months. Karen said something to the effect that James has a button in his head which tells him he sucks, is shit and doesn't deserve to live. She says I'm just so damn good at pressing it.
