(no subject)

WeeTanya and Freeman returned from Portland recon today. Wandered over to the Highlander with Brian and ran into them with phatjoe and met SolSistr. Much food and beer was had. Copious tots.

SolSistr was the first person I have discovered on LJ before real life. It made for an interesting first meeting. I felt an immediate empathy for her. She works for part of a certain gigantic media empire that gave me the boot last January. She works the overnight shift, which does not encourage sanity or a social life. But she was cool. She bummed me a smoke and so shall be known as one of the cool ones.

I returned home around 8pm, with the intention of returning to the Highlander in an hour or two to continue drinking. Instead, I was carried along by Roomie, who was going to retrieve Karo from a potentially emotional situation. As it turns out, she was fine. If by fine you mean "had so many 'ass kicking' margaritas that she was unable to take the train home". :)

So, too tired to take on another trip to Highlander, I write my LJ before bedding down. See yall tomorrow.
